Carla Cross, CRB, MA, is president of Carla Cross and Company, which includes Carla Cross Seminars, Carla Cross Coaching, and Cross Institute. Her companies provide systems-based coaching, business seminars, and productivity resources to real estate professionals internationally.

What’s music got to do with it? Cross’ college degrees are in a closely related field to real estate: music. Surprisingly, Cross has found powerful parallels between the worlds of high performance real estate and high performance in music.

Audiences get a different kind of experience Cross uses her musical talent to ge taudiences ‘out of the box’ and ‘freshened’ for the challenges of a tougher market. During her presentations, Carla demonstrates to audiences the power of performance principles by using the piano during presentations (and inspiring them to develop their own talents). Or, she uses performance stories and analogies to encourage her audiences that increasing their skills and attaining their goals is not only possible, it is road-map able.

High performance coaching Drawing on her musical background, Carla has imbued her coaching programs with a unique and effective performance approach to improving real estate professionals’ outcomes.

Productivity expert A widely published expert in productivity, Cross has led the field for three decades. She is author of six internationally published books (including the huge hit Up and Running in 30 Days, now in its 3rd edition), and 20 productivity resources. Cross credits her musical background and her work toward her master’s degree in providing accurate and detailed resources for real estate professionals.

Quality tested by CRB and CRS More of Cross’s resources are quality tested and recommended by prestigious Realtor organizations Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) and Council of Real Estate Brokers (CRB) than any other speaker today.

Cross has worked with the top companies in the world Cross has coached and consulted the largest real estate franchises and Realtor organizations in the world, including Windermere Real Estate, Re/Max Eastern Canada, Re/Max Europe, Re/Max Israel, Royal LePage (Canada), GMAC, Keller Williams Realty, and the Council of Real Estate Brokers (CRB). Cross is also a regular management contributor to the Real Estate Professional, and has been published in leading real estate publications over 300 times.

Honors

Acknowledged as a leader by various Realtor organizations, Cross is a Nationa lRealtor Educator of the Year, a Washington Realtor Educator of the Year, and a former master level CRB instructor (one of only 12), presenting management courses internationally leading to the prestigious CRB designation. She was a writer for three of those courses.

Sales and management history

Cross’s expertise was proven ‘in the field’ through three decades of achievements. As real estate agent, she sold 40 homes her first year in the business, and attained top 1% status in her 400 agent company in her third year in the business. She managed an office ‘in the red’ to six-figure profits, and took that office to #1 in productivity out of 19 offices (in the #1 company in Washington at the time). She went on to design the largest training program on the West Coast. Her turnarounds weren’t complete, though, until she ‘rescued’ another failing office and created six figure profits in one year. Finally, her field experience included turning around a failing region for the fourth largest real estate franchise in the world. These experiences and track record led to solutions-based presentations and resources for leadership.
