Carla, I participated in the webinar you did for Verl Workman on Tuesday, Feb. 21st. Thank you for your time, and sharing your wisdom and expertise. I took advantage of your offer for agents!

As I was “perusing” the information this afternoon, I came across the “Free Stuff” link. FYI, the Price Reduction Agreement and Gathering Information on the Phone from Sellers links are both the same. They are both the “Gathering Information on the Phone from Sellers” form.

I’d be interested in seeing the Price Reduction Agreement if it is available.

Thanks for your comment. Very insightful. It always amazes me when a new agent ‘leaves their humanity at the door’, so to speak. We carry with us much more experience, common sense, and skill than we give ourselves credit for. Being ourselves, while learning the skills of this business, is key. Hi Carla!

The biggest mistake I made when I first started was selling myself as something I was not. I was trying to be a image of a experienced professional but the suit did not quite fit well. It may have been because the suit was a hand me down from my brother in-law but more likely I was uncomfortable representing something I was not. I now believe in having new agents sell to their strong attributes first. Along with a lot of other great reasons, It makes them understand their integrity and empowers their confidence in closing. In this case the old cliche “fake it till you make it ” isn’t the right approach.

Hi, Lori,
I did reply to you via email, but I wanted to be sure you got my reply. I’m not doing live courses in Washignton, except for Instructor Development and How to Write a Course. However, I do have some approved facilitators for my Advantage 2.0 program, which is done ‘live’ and gives attendees specific guidance and accountability in re-generating their businesses. I’ll let you know when the next session starts.

There are many online courses for pre-license, and continuing ed courses (after licensing). To get your real estate license, you need to take a pre-license course and pass a test. Each state has their own requirements. Check for online prelicense courses on the web. Check state requirements, and pre-licenses courses that fulfill those requirements in the state where you will live and work. Best,
